Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Carolina Panthers, 1:00 PM ET

Tampa Bay has largely played pretty well with Jalon Daniels under center, but there seems to be a chance that starter Baker Mayfield is able to return to the lineup in Week 7, and the Buccaneers will need it.

Even at 1-5, Tampa Bay is still in the mix in the NFC South, and being able to dig out of this little hole would have to begin with a win over the 3-2 Carolina Panthers. With a healthy Mayfield, I am not sure these teams aren't as even as you can get.

The Buccaneers have played reasonably well on defense this year, so containing the Panthers high-powered passing attack might not be able to operate as they have this year. The Panthers got things rolling after their bye in Week 6 with a win over Philadelphia.

But even if Mayfield suits up in this one, the Panthers are at home and do feel like a better overall team this year - the on-field play is what we go by, so the Panthers win this one.

Prediction: Panthers win 27-21

Sunday, October 25th

Cincinnati Bengals @ Baltimore Ravens, 1:00 PM ET

Oh boy, could this game be fun or what? Lamar Jackson's availability is going to be the main talking point all week. In my opinion, it's rather simple - if the Ravens have Jackson in the lineup, they'll win. If not, they'll lose.

I do not have any sources, but I am going to go out on a limb and say that Jackson works his way back into the lineup for the Ravens and returns from his ankle injury. When healthy, the Cincinnati Bengals and Baltimore Ravens are both insanely good teams with generational quarterbacks.

Having this one at home and being a more stable, winning franchise overall, it shouldn't be a stretch to see the Ravens winning what could be a high-scoring affair, as both defenses have shown signs of being vulnerable this year.

We're going with the Ravens.

Prediction: Ravens win 30-28
