Arizona Cardinals (2-5) @ Dallas Cowboys (3-4)
Sunday, November 1, 1:00 PM ET
The Arizona Cardinals might present a legitimate problem for the Dallas Cowboys, and everyone is going to wish I was kidding about that.
Despite their flaws, despite their youth, and despite the talent gap on their roster, the Arizona Cardinals boast one of the league’s most dangerous passing attacks. The majority of their success is coming between the 20s right now, but they can still move the ball through the air, and Jacoby Brissett has one of the league’s most dangerous weapons in tight end Trey McBride.
Arizona’s biggest problem right now is the same problem the Cowboys have had most of the 2026 season: They can’t keep other teams out of the end zone.
The Cardinals had their best defensive performance of the season just two weeks ago against the Rams, but how much of that was Mike LaFleur’s familiarity with Sean McVay’s offense? He knew the answers to the test.
Even after seeing Dak Prescott return to form in the Cowboys' Monday night matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles, I still just have absolutely no faith in that defense. To see them give up a 17-play drive at the beginning of the second half?
The Cardinals just have better personnel than what the Cowboys faced in Philadelphia, at least offensively. I am concerned they are on serious upset alert, but I don't have the guts to pick them to lose at home.
Prediction: Cowboys win 31-26
