Cleveland Browns (5-2) @ Pittsburgh Steelers (5-2)
Sunday, November 1, 1:00 PM ET
It wasn’t that long ago that we got this matchup in Cleveland with the Browns coming away victorious on their home field against the Steelers.
Now, the Steelers are going to have a shot to get even.
This game has an over/under set at 38.5 total points, so the folks in Vegas are clearly expecting this to look like an old-schol Big Ten style matchup. Defense, kicking, running the ball…
But what if this one ends up being the shootout of the week?
The last time these two teams played against each other, it was kind of a shootout with the Browns winning 27-24. Both of these offenses have shown they have the potential to be explosive this season, but the smart money is probably on a defensive battle and both teams playing keep-away.
In that case, I like the home team. The Steelers are going to be coming back from their win in France against the New Orleans Saints, and that was another “ugly” win (16-10) among a number of them for this team in 2026.
But it really doesn’t have to be pretty.
The Steelers are early 3.5-point favorites, and even if I don’t really know what this team can hang its hat on week after week, I tend to agree with that line. I am thinking a 4-point win for the Steelers, and the biggest difference being the home crowd and how they get after Deshaun Watson early in the game with the pass rush.
Prediction: Steelers win 20-16
