AFC South
Houston Texans: 12-5
Sporting the best roster in the division, the Houston Texans go 12-5 in our predictions and capture the AFC South for the third time in four seasons. Even with the team starting 0-3 last year, they found a way to win 12 games.
Houston's roster is a tier or two above the rest in the division, and with CJ Stroud knowing what's at stake in 2026, I truly believe he's primed to play some of the best football of his career. The Texans win a ton this year and secure a top-4 playoff seed.
Jacksonville Jaguars: 11-6
Losing two key players in free agency is going to hurt, and I would also argue that the Jacksonville Jaguars arrived a year early last year. This team is still very good and extremely well-coached, but I don't see a viable path to another division-title season like we saw last year, especially with how good the Texans are. Jacksonville will scrape together 11 wins in a solid season, but it won't be what we saw in 2025.
Indianapolis Colts: 7-10
The Indianapolis Colts began the year 7-1 in 2025, and it finally felt like this franchise was on the right track, but with an entire year of film out on the offense, Daniel Jones returning from a major injury, and the overall talent level in the AFC being rather high, the Colts just don't seem to have enough to break through beyond that middling tier that the team has been in for years now.
Tennessee Titans: 6-11
A 6-11 season would not necessarily be a huge success, but it would be a step in the right direction for the Tennessee Titans, who really just need to see some year two growth from Cam Ward and for the defense to begin to settle into their own under Robert Saleh's guidance.
