NFC South

Tampa Bay Buccaneers: 8-9

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers finish 8-9 for the second year in a row in our predictions, but are able to do enough to win the NFC South. Tampa is a fine team - they don't do anything particularly well besides being stout along the offensive line.

And that's an issue, but while they do win the division here, there would surely be some long-term concerns with the franchise if this is what 2026 ends up being. We could be approaching a time where major changes are made at key spots like head coach and QB if this coming season isn't good enough.

New Orleans Saints: 8-9

The New Orleans Saints win eight games in our predictions and make some progress in the NFC South. The Saints did finish last in the division last year, but they got some nice returns from Tyler Shough and also won four of their final five games.

While the Saints might still be a year away this year, they piece together a couple more wins and flirt with a winning record, and even do get close to that division title.

Atlanta Falcons: 5-12

As badly as I want to predict the Atlanta Falcons to be a fun team this year, I just can't bring myself to do it with the QB returns they've gotten this offseason. The talent on offense is enough for this team to win the NFC South, but Tua Tagovailoa might truly be washed up for good, and Michael Penix Jr's injury history is horrifying.

Carolina Panthers: 4-13

One team I might be lower on than most is the Carolina Panthers. Bryce Young is an incredibly limited QB and may not have anything more than what we saw during the 2025 season. Carolina's weaponry on offense is also unspectacular, and the defense is just OK. The Panthers regress in our predictions.
