AFC Playoff Teams
(1) Denver Broncos
The Broncos secure the AFC's top seed for the second year in a row, locking up homefield advantage in one of the toughest places to play in the NFL.
(2) Houston Texans
Houston's AFC South-winning season in our predictions lands them the No. 2 seed. Stroud elevating his game is really the main key this season. Houston could absolutely win it all if Stroud plays like he did as a rookie.
(3) Buffalo Bills
Buffalo is back atop the AFC East in our predictions, securing the No. 3 seed and guaranteeing them at least one home playoff game, which would come against a very formidable foe...
(4) Baltimore Ravens
Baltimore winning the AFC North wouldn't be a shock to anyone. Securing the No. 4 seed, the Ravens get at least one home playoff game, but they could also be the most likely division winner on upset alert in the Wild Card Round.
(5) Jacksonville Jaguars
It's a new era for the Jaguars, as they make the playoffs two years in a row, and in both seasons of the new Liam Coen era. Jacksonville winning 13 games again just doesn't feel that likely, but two playoff berths in a row should largely be expected.
(6) Cincinnati Bengals
The Bengals snap their three-year playoff drought streak, but it's going to be a tough test, as they land at the No. 6 seed and are heading on the road when the playoffs begin.
(7) New England Patriots
Just barely getting in, the defending AFC champions make the playoffs in our predictions, but it's the No. 7 and final seed. New England would have quite the test to get back to the Super Bowl, and it's not like this team played all that well last postseason, so going one-and-done is very possible.
