Miami Dolphins: 4
I am not sure there should be a ton of reason to panic for the Miami Dolphins, as they did this to themselves and obviously did it with a purpose. This past offseason, the Dolphins parted with a ton of key former players including Tua Tagovailoa, Jaylen Waddle, Tyreek Hill, and others.
The team clearly wanted to begin the process of a full, complete rebuild, and when a team rebuilds in the NFL and legitimately starts from scratch, it looks like what we've seen from the team through two weeks.
That doesn't mean the franchise is OK with losing, necessarily, as it's mentally draining and probably makes them wonder when the first win is going to come. With that being said, the Dolphins do have some nice young players in either side of the ball and could end up with one of the first picks in the 2027 NFL Draft.
There is some light at the end of the tunnel. On the field, though, it's not been pretty. Virtually nothing has worked for this team, as the roster talent is among the worst in the league, and the year one coaching staff also caps the ceiling of this squad.
With the AFC East not really being a good divsion thus far, the Dolphins might be able to steal a game this year against the New York Jets, for example. But all in all, the Dolphins are where they are - this is a rebuilding team, and it's going to take years for that rebuild to be complete.
And even in that event, there isn't a guarantee that the rebuild works out the way it should. Unless this team keeps stacking losses, the panic meter really should not be all that high so far. If the aggressive, blowout losses continued throughout the season, we're having a different discussion.
