Tennessee Titans: 5
The Tennessee Titans are in a weird spot. The panic meter is halfway there right now. The team put up a stinker in Week 1 to the New York Jets, losing by 13 points at home, but thye were able to hang with the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 2, losing by just four.
Robert Saleh is in as the head coach, and it marked the beginning of a new-ish era. Cam Ward is in his second year as the starter, and he now has Brian Daboll on his side as his offensive coordinator. While there is reason to believe that Ward should make some sort of jump this year, the roster is far from being good enough to consistently win.
And when you couple in a new coaching staff, this team is very much still in that rebuilding phase. In the coming weeks, the Titans also have some contests against Baltimore, Houston, and Cincinnati. They'll play the New York Giants in Week 3, the Indianapolis Colts in Week6, and the Cleveland Browns in Week 7.
With how shaky this team has looked, I am not sure the first win of the season is obvious. However, this team should get a bit of a leash given how incomplete everything feels and how much growth Ward still has to do.
I don't think it's insane to expect a better team this year than what we got in 2026, but the early returns would indicate that it's the same old Titans.
Perhaps more than other teams on this list, the Titans are one that we really need to pay attention to in the coming weeks. If the defense shapes up under Saleh, and Ward begins to get more comfortable in Daboll's offense, the Titans could be a frisky team. They're at a 5 right now on our panic meter.
