4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (0-2)
Just about nothing is working for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers thus far. The team is now 0-2 and 2-9 across their previous 11 regular season games. We could be approaching a point in time where some major change is about to happen, but with the team having extended quarterback Baker Mayfield recently, he's likely entrenched as their starter for the next few seasons.
5. Washington Commanders (0-2)
We're just two games in, and the Washington Commanders are not only banged up, but Jayden Daniels is already hurt. This team desperately needs more blue-chip talent, so another high pick in the NFL Draft really wouldn't be the worst thing. With that said, the current front office has largely done a bad job at building this roster around Daniels, so this could be another franchise where major change is soon coming.
6. Los Angeles Chargers (0-2)
Did anyone expect the Los Angeles Chargers to be 0-2 through two games? With an absolute gauntlet coming up, the Bolts might genuinely be on track to finish with a losing record for the first tim in the Jim Harbaugh era, which is rather shocking.
The Chargers also don't have much blue-chip talent and could greatly benefit from a high pick in the NFL Draft.
7. Miami Dolphins (0-2)
Miami is in a genuine rebuild, so this team is likely going to have an even higher first-round pick next April. More than other positions, the Dolphins desperately need some long-term stability at QB. The roster might be the worst in the league right now, though, so this is going to be a very heavy lift for the front office.
8. New York Jets (via GB, 1-2)
As of now, the Jets own the 3rd and 8th picks in the NFL Draft. This could potentially be a franchise-altering year when next April arrives. The Jets are going to be rooting against Green Bay and Indianapolis, obviously.
9. Atlanta Falcons (1-2)
Atlanta won in blowout fashion over the Green Bay Packers in Week 3. Dare I say the Falcons could actually be a good team if Michael Penix Jr. plays reasonably well...?
This team still likely has a long-term QB issue, but the rest of the roster is rather solid, so falling outside of the top-10 would not be a shock.
10. Dallas Cowboys (1-1)
Dallas' defense has been bad thus far, so that's still a thing. If it doesn't improve as the season goes on, the Cowboys will likely waste another high-end year on offense due to a bottom-feeding defense. It's really as simple as that. An average defense would be good enough for this team to get into the playoffs, but that's proving to be a lot harder than anticipated.
