3. Miami Dolphins (1-6)
The Miami Dolphins are 1-6 on the season and gave QB Malik Willis a multi-year deal in the offseason. It's clear that Willis doesn't have enough talent around him to truly succeed, but he's also not a franchise QB. The Dolphins do have roster needs all over the place, though, so I am not sure they are a total lock to take a QB, especially if the top options are gone.
4. New York Jets (2-6, via IND)
The New York Jets, thanks to the Indianapolis Colts being flat-out terrible this year, have the No. 4 pick as of now. The Jets do need a franchise QB, but with the young talent this team has on offense, the Jets might not be as far away as some thing. Currently, the Jets have three first-round picks, and if there is a chance that a veteran QB could be on the move via trade, you almost wonder if the front office would consider going in that route...?
5. Philadelphia Eagles (2-6)
The Philadelphia Eagles have lost six games in a row now and will not get QB Jalen Hurts back this year. Philly having a top-5 pick just does not feel right, as this team was a top-tier Super Bowl contender just two seasons ago, which proves how quickly things can change in the NFL.
6. New York Jets (2-6)
The Jets have two picks in the top-6 right now, as this one is their own. Given how many resources this team has come April, the Jets could end up being a 'wild card' team that has the potential to go in a number of directions. The Jets' General Manager is Darren Mougey, who was previously with the Denver Broncos, so he should have a solid idea of how to navigate this incredible situation.
