9. New York Jets (from Cowboys): Arch Manning, QB, Texas

To say that Arch Manning’s stock is falling right now would be an understatement, but I still think NFL teams are going to hold him in extremely high regard.

Manning didn’t have a great game against Florida over the weekend, but made some more “wow” types of plays along with his typical couple of cringeworthy mistakes. The talent is still there with Arch, but is he worth a top-10 investment?

The recklessness with which he plays at times warrants a discussion. Either way, Jets GM Darren Mougey was hired by the Broncos in 2012, the same year the team signed Peyton Manning in free agency. He has a longstanding connection to Manning and that family, which could come into play.

10. Philadelphia Eagles: Dylan Stewart, EDGE, South Carolina

Although the situations are not the same, the Eagles took a chance on a falling Jalen Carter in the 2023 NFL Draft. You have to think they would do the same if an opportunity like this presents itself with Dylan Stewart.

In terms of his physical traits and potential, Stewart would go much higher than this. But he’s gotten himself into some hot water this season by throwing hands with an Alabama player and getting upset with his coaches on the sideline.

NFL teams are going to absolutely grill him about that stuff, but teams will be more enamored with his talent and believe they can get the best out of him. The Eagles have been more than willing to take these chances before.

11. New York Jets (from Colts): Ellis Robinson IV, CB, Georgia

The Jets have three 1st-round picks in the 2027 NFL Draft, and one of the top positions they’re going to be targeting is cornerback.

Luckily for them, this is a fun class at the position, especially up at the top.

Ellis Robinson IV had 4 interceptions last season and has some of the best ball skills at corner in this draft. Maybe the best. He’s on the lighter side for a cornerback prospect at 180 pounds, but he’s physical, and exactly the type of player Aaron Glenn will want for his secondary.

12. New York Jets: Will Echoles, DL, Ole Miss

One of the big trades the Jets made last year in order to obtain these three 1st-round picks was sending Quinnen Williams to the Dallas Cowboys.

They’ve tried some other options on the interior defensive line, but have yet to replace that presence. I’m not sure that’s fair pressure to put on Will Echoles here, but he at least has the type of talent you can invest a top pick in at the position.

He’s already NFL-ready when it comes to his ability to anchor as a run defender, but his ability to penetrate and make plays behind the line of scrimmage will have him soaring up draft boards with a few more big games this season.
