11. Washington Commanders - Jordan Seaton, OT, LSU
The Washington Commanders may truly have the worst offensive line in the sport right now, and while Jordan Seaton is a left tackle prospect, and the Commanders just paid Laremy Tunsil, I don't see the harm in GM Adam Peters snagging Seaton if he's the best player on the board.
There does appear to be a major shortage of offensive line talent across the NFL, and getting another viable body in the room couldn't hurt.
Jayden Daniels may also be an injury-prone player, but even if that wasn't the case, teams that sport top offensive lines typically go quite far in the NFL playoffs. Washington getting more protection for Daniels, even if not for the immediate future, would be a wise investment.
12. New York Jets - Tae Johnson, S, Notre Dame
The second of three first-round picks for the Jets, they snag Tae Johnson from Notre Dame. The secondary was other-worldly bad for the Jets in 2025, and while the unit did get better this offseason, there is still significant improvements that need to be made.
The second defensive back from Notre Dame comes off the board in the first 12 picks, as the Jets' front office has now used their first two first-round picks on both sides of the ball, which could set the team up with some more flexibility with their final first-rounder.
The Jets could very well be a tough team to deal with in 2027 if they hit on the right QB, as the youthful talent on offense could set the stage for long-term success with the right QB.
New York could also put a defensive focus on their other picks in 2027 if they are able to get the QB with their first pick, which they did here in our latest mock with Carr from Notre Dame.
