9. New York Jets: Dante Moore, QB, Oregon

The New York Jets have three first-round picks to work with in the 2027 NFL Draft, and find themselves in the most enviable position possible going into next offseason. Even if they don’t have a pick in the top 5 overall, they might be in a great position with the way this season has been unfolding for the top college prospects.

Dante Moore was considered almost a unanimous QB1 going into this season, and even with some inconsistencies this year, NFL teams aren’t just going to throw away their scouting notes on him prior to this year. The Jets already have one of his good buddies – tight end Kenyon Sadiq – on the roster, and feel like a great landing spot for any young QB next offseason.

10. Houston Texans: Cam Coleman, WR, Texas

One thing that has become abundantly clear for the Houston Texans this season is their need for more talent at the offensive skill positions. There was maybe a little too much stock put into David Montgomery just coming in and being the missing piece for this offense.

Nico Collins also can’t bear too much of the burden in the passing game. The Texans lost Jayden Higgins to a knee injury before the year started, so missing Collins for any extended period of time has hurt.

Cam Coleman’s year at Texas hasn’t exactly gone according to plan, but he’s still got elite traits and will be coveted by NFL teams.

11. Washington Commanders: Jadan Baugh, RB, Florida

The Commanders could go a number of directions in the 1st round of next year’s draft. Obviously, this is a team that has needs on the defensive side of the ball. They poured so much into the defense during the 2026 offseason, and even after emphasizing that side heavily in both free agency and the NFL Draft, the job is not finished for GM Adam Peters.

But Jadan Baugh has the potential to be a game-changing running back at the next level, and the Commanders need to be able to lean on a strong running game for Jayden Daniels.

12. Carolina Panthers: Will Echoles, DL, Ole Miss

The Panthers have to go after more defense in the 2027 NFL Draft. They have to get tougher in the trenches, but there are a lot of issues with this defense right now.

When it comes to a defensive unit struggling, the first thing you have to figure out is the trench play. If you can dominated at the line of scrimmage, you’re going to be in every single game. The Panthers have invested there, but they can’t pass on a disruptor on the interior like Will Echoles. He’s got an NFL-ready frame at 6-foot-4, 315 pounds with elite movement skills and high upside.
