5. Tennessee Titans: Leonard Moore, CB, Notre Dame
As exciting as the Titans have a chance to be moving forward, they might be about to face the reality that they are very much a reloading team. The pieces are there for the Titans to make some noise in the AFC South this season, but it all depends on the progression of Cam Ward.
If they aren't ahead of schedule, they could be picking this high again next year, and would have a handful of blue-chip players to pick from on the defensive side of the ball. Robert Saleh would have his pick of the litter, and Leonard Moore is the best defensive player in this class (for now).
6. Atlanta Falcons: LaNorris Sellers, QB, South Carolina
The Atlanta Falcons are the last team in the NFL to name a starting quarterback for a reason. Tua Taogvailoa didn't do enough in his first camp with the team to make it obvious that he should be the opening day starter. Michael Penix Jr. hasn't played well enough in the past to justify making him the obvious QB1 when he's fully healthy.
The Falcons have invested heavily in their core of offensive players, but they need a QB of the future. LaNorris Sellers was absolutely dominant -- like many top QB prospects -- in his first tune up of the season. We'll see how the year progresses, but he has top-10 talent.
7. Las Vegas Raiders: Cam Coleman, WR, Texas
Many early 2027 NFL mock draft scenarios have the Las Vegas Raiders landing Jeremiah Smith, the superstar prospect out of Ohio State. This isn't just taking the next best receiver on the board, either. Cam Coleman is right up there with Smith as an NFL receiver prospect.
The transfer from Auburn was immediately featured in Steve Sarkisian's offense at Texas, and he was dynamic. He had just three receptions in Texas's season opener, but two went for touchdowns and he averaged over 23 yards per reception.
8. New Orleans Saints: Dylan Stewart, EDGE, South Carolina
We didn't get to experience this in the 2026 NFL Draft, but when you have so many QB prospects and teams fighting for them, elite defensive prospects like Dylan Stewart (and others) start dropping down the board a bit.
The Saints wouldn't complain.
The Saints don't want to end up picking this high again, but if that does end up being the case, getting a talent like Stewart to come off the edge would be huge for them. We didn't get to see him play in Week 1 as he ramps up from injury, but he'll be a game-wrecker as soon as he's fully cleared for action.
