29. Philadelphia Eagles: Tae Johnson, SAF, Notre Dame

We know how much Vic Fangio covets top-tier talent in the defensive backfield, and the chance to add a safety like Tae Johnson is something he might not let GM Howie Roseman pass on.

Johnson might remind Fangio somewhat of Justin Simmons as a player, who he had while he was the head coach of the Denver Broncos. He's got elite coverage instincts and the ability to close on the football in a hurry. He had 4 interceptions last season and is so quick to diagnose, react, and get to the football.

He would be a fantastic addition to Philly's secondary.

30. Baltimore Ravens: Kade Pieper, C, Iowa

The interior offensive line still needs to be addressed by the Baltimore Ravens, even after they used a 1st-round pick in 2026 on Vega Ioane out of Penn State.

It would be slightly hilarious if they were to use another late 1st-round pick on an Iowa center after losing Tyler Linderbaum in free agency to the Raiders, but when life gives you lemons...

Funny enough, if Pieper goes in the 1st round of the 2027 NFL Draft at all, he would be the first center taken in the 1st round of the draft since...Tyler Linderbaum in 2022.

31. Buffalo Bills: Jaylen McClain, SAF, Ohio State

It feels like we're always punting by putting a safety in these pick slots to the Buffalo Bills, but they've got to take one early at some point, right?

Cole Bishop is a free agent after the 2027 season. CJ Gardner-Johnson seemingly has no staying power anywhere he goes these days, and is one of three free agents at the position on the Buffalo roster right now.

Jaylen McClain is definitely one of the younger players eligible for this draft class, but his talent on the back end is undeniable. Watching him play "centerfield" for the Ohio State defense is a sight to behold. When he sees the ball in the air, he breaks on it with elite speed.

32. Cleveland Browns (from Rams): David Stone, DL, Oklahoma

The Cleveland Browns got a quarterback near the top of this 2027 NFL mock draft, and here they upgrade their defensive line with another playmaker in David Stone.

The flashes with Stone last year at Oklahoma were impressive. He was a highly regarded prospect, and it's easy to see why. But he needs to play more, especially on passing downs. He proved he could be an immovable object against the run, as well as make plays at or behind the line of scrimmage, but his potential as a pass rusher is what everyone wants to see more of in 2026.
