9. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Charlie Becker, WR, Indiana
I can’t remember where I saw it, and I don’t recall who said it, so I can’t take credit for this, but whoever said that Charlie Becker’s NFL comp could be Christian Watson was spot on.
Becker has been one of the best downfield targets in college football this season, showing incredible concentration and strong hands at the catch point. He’s more than just a vertical speed threat, but truly a weapon at all levels of the field who can win vertically a lot easier than other receivers.
Pairing him up with Emeka Egbuka would be lethal, especially as the absence of Mike Evans becomes more felt by the week.
10. New Orleans Saints: Ashton Hampton, CB, Clemson
The New Orleans Saints had one of the most underrated defenses in the NFL in 2025, but that unit has struggled in 2026. They are 25th against the pass and 29th in the league allowing third downs.
They have to get better in the secondary, and Clemson’s Ashton Hampton could give them an absolute stud on the outside. Hampton has the type of confidence and swagger you love in a cornerback, taking on the matchup against the opposing team’s #1 receiver head-on.
He plays with an aggressiveness and physicality that NFL teams will absolutely love.
11. New York Jets: Trinidad Chambliss, QB, Ole Miss
In this particular instance, I think it’s safe to say the New York Jets would “run to the podium” to take Trinidad Chambliss.
He’s already the 4th QB off the board in this mock draft scenario, but he could fall in the draft for reasons that are unfortunately very meaningless. Yes, Chambliss will be 25 by the start of next season. No, that really doesn’t matter. You can’t be thinking about how things will be 10 years from now. It’s all about the next window of time.
And Chambliss might legitimately be able to elevate that Jets’ offense. He is one of the most pro-ready players in college football at the QB position from the standpoint of going through progressions, hitting throws to all levels of the field, and hunting big plays with the football.
12. New York Jets (from Cowboys): Chris Cole, LB, Georgia
After landing both Leonard Moore and Trinidad Chambliss already in this mock draft, the New York Jets complete their trio of 1st-round picks by taking Georgia’s star linebacker Chris Cole, one of the biggest risers in this year’s NFL Draft evaluation process.
Cole is another one of these unique off-ball linebackers who can rush the passer off the edge as effectively as he can drop into coverage and play in space.
He’s got great instincts at the position, he flies to the football, and he could be this draft’s version of a Sonny Styles or Arvell Reese. But we don’t want to put too high of expectations on him just yet.
