25. Philadelphia Eagles: Matayo Uiagalelei, EDGE, Oregon
There is a distinct timeline of events that will likely lead to Eagles GM Howie Roseman either trading a 1st-round pick for another edge rusher at some point, or using his 1st-round pick in next year's draft on a pass rusher.
The Eagles traded for Jaelan Phillips during the 2025 season, tried to re-sign him after the year, and he spurned them for the Carolina Panthers. They then struck a trade during the 2026 NFL Draft to acquire Jonathan Greenard, but he's likely just a bandage.
Matayo Uiagalelei's name has been popping up in our mock drafts for a long time now, and for good reason. He's one of the most productive pass rushers in the country.
26. San Francisco 49ers: Austin Siereveld, OT, Ohio State
This one is pretty simple, and it's another situation that has been getting brought up for quite some time.
Trent Williams can't play forever. He's going a great job of spitting in the face of that idea at this point, but there will come a day that Williams hangs up the cleats...we think.
When that day comes, the 49ers need to be ready. The highest draft selection investment on their offensive line right now is right guard Dominick Puni, who was a 3rd-round pick in 2024. It's time for John Lynch to start investing in big men on the offensive side of the ball with his premium NFL Draft real estate.
27. New England Patriots: Justin Scott, DL, Miami
The New England Patriots have a good enough team and roster to justify simply taking the best player on the board, which is the exact scenario we have here.
Justin Scott is expected to really take a huge leap forward this year for Miami with perhaps a few more opportunities to be the one to take down the quarterback now that both Rueben Bain and Akheem Mesidor are gone.
Scott has outstanding quickness off the snap, he plays with good leverage, and he has a variety of moves that help him get in the backfield consistently.
28. Buffalo Bills: Tae Johnson, SAF, Notre Dame
The fall of Tae Johnson simply cannot go any further than this. The Buffalo Bills are one of those teams that is so good on paper, you almost struggle to figure out where they might look in the NFL Draft, or maybe even peg them as a team that could trade this pick to a quarterback-needy team.
Tae Johnson, however, would be worth staying put for.
In his breakout year last year at Notre Dame, Johnson had 48 total tackles and four interceptions, showing off his ball skills. For a team like the Bills, you're looking for those last pieces of a championship squad that can make a difference in January. Having a guy who can take the ball a way like Johnson is exactly what they'll be looking for.
