13. Washington Commanders: Jordan Seaton, OT, LSU
The injury to Laremy Tunsil has really highlighted the need for the Washington Commanders to go back to the offensive line early in the 2027 NFL Draft.
Even though they just used a 1st-round pick on the offensive tackle position by taking Josh Conerly with their top pick in 2025, the Commanders go after LSU tackle Jordan Seaton here. He fits the best player available category, and his pass protecting skills are elite.
As he continues to add strength and prove himself in the run game, he could become a lock for the top 10 picks overall.
14. New Orleans Saints: Yhonzae Pierre, EDGE, Alabama
The New Orleans Saints have done a really good job of identifying talent through the draft, free agency, and trades in recent years. They're building something under head coach Kellen Moore, and it looks like they have a franchise QB of the present (and future) in Tyler Shough.
This team needs to get some more young talent coming off the edge. Chase Young has been a great addition for this team, but they need to hit big on a young pass rusher in the NFL Draft, and Yhonzae Pierre could be the ideal fit.
Pierre played really well down the stretch last season, and opened up the 2026 campaign looking dominant off the edge. He is one of the top early risers in this class.
15. New York Jets (from Cowboys): Trevor Goosby, OT, Texas
The New York Jets continue to dominate the top 15 picks of this 2027 NFL mock draft with their third selection already.
They took Notre Dame stars Leonard Moore and CJ Carr with their top two picks, and here, they use the selection they got from the Dallas Cowboys (Quinnen Williams trade) to beef up in the trenches offensively.
No matter what, this will always be an area where teams are looking for blue-chip talent. Trevor Goosby passed on the chance to be a 1st-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft to continue working on his game at the college level, and he showcased that improvement in a stellar outing against Ohio State.
16. New York Giants: A'Mauri Washington, DL, Oregon
The New York Giants felt like they had to use one of their biggest bargaining chips -- Dexter Lawrence -- to contribute to the future of the roster. Giving up Lawrence for the 10th overall pick was a significant price to pay, but the Giants can fill that void in what is expected to be a very talented 2027 defensive line class.
A'Mauri Washington is one of a handful of names that has been routinely popping up in the 1st round of many mock draft scenarios, and for good reason. He's big, nasty, plays with good leverage, and has the potential to be a disruptor on all 3 downs.
