25. Chicago Bears: Justin Scott, DL, Miami
The Chicago Bears struck gold on Day 3 of the 2026 NFL Draft with Jordan van den Berg, but the defensive line is still in rebuilding mode.
They traded Gervon Dexter before the start of the season, and the edge rusher positions still need to be looked at over the long term.
Given how many patchwork solutions they currently have on the defensive line, taking the best IDL available with their 1st-round pick would make a ton of sense. Scott is a former 5-star prospect whose run defense has been his calling card up to this point, but he has potential to grow into a disruptive force as a pass rusher as well.
26. Houston Texans: Jamari Johnson, TE, Oregon
The Houston Texans' roster is in a really great position right now, which is why they can afford to make a pick like this.
Dalton Schultz, Foster Moreau, and Cade Stover will all be free agents after the 2027 season. Even after using a 2nd-round pick on Marlin Klein, we know the NFL is trending toward a lot more multi-tight end sets, and getting a dynamic weapon like Jamari Johnson would serve this team really well.
With the recent injuries to both Tank Dell and Jayden Higgins (and even the Week 2 injury for Nico Collins), you can't help but think adding another playmaker here would make sense.
27. Cleveland Browns (from Rams): David Stone, DL, Oklahoma
After taking Arch Manning with the top pick in this 2027 NFL mock draft, the Browns go to the defensive side of the ball and take one of the many interior defensive line studs in this class.
They used a high first-round pick on Mason Graham in 2025, and we'll see how this season plays out for former 2nd-round pick Mike Hall, who hasn't lived up to his NFL Draft billing up to this point.
David Stone was previously considered a potential top-10 pick, but his 2026 season has been a bit of a disappointment thus far. Just like many of the other top IDL prospects in this class, the tools to work with are what NFL teams want on the interior.
28. Jacksonville Jaguars: Jadan Baugh, RB, Florida
Before rolling with Bhayshul Tuten and Chris Rodriguez Jr. this season, the Jacksonville Jaguars looked into signing veteran running back JK Dobbins. They clearly want another physical runner in the stable, and they might be able to find one in their own backyard.
Jadan Baugh has been absolutely ridiculous in the first couple of games this season, running for 296 yards in the Gators' first two games of the year. He averaged 10.6 yards per carry and had five touchdowns in those first two games.
At 6-foot-1, 233 pounds, this is a guy who reaches his top speed quickly, and he's elusive for a bigger back. He could skyrocket up boards if he keeps playing well against better competition.
