27. Chicago Bears - Quincy Rhodes Jr, EDGE, Arkansas

Would anyone be shocked if Chicago went with a pass-rusher? Nope, not at all. Despite having one of the better rosters in the NFL, GM Ryan Poles just has not been able to figure out the defensive line.

Getting to the QB is something that Chicago has not done well in recent years, and it could force them to actually make a move at the NFL trade deadline, which would not be a shock seeing as the Bears are in a window.

And while that could temporarily fix the issue, adding some rookie talent in the NFL Draft would be the way to go. The Bears take Quincy Rhodes Jr from Arkansas at pick 27 in our mock draft. At 6-6 and about 270 pounds, Rhodes’ size is overwhelming.

He also does have a nice get-off and does also have the production to back it up. The Bears really need to juice up their defensive line, and it’s getting to the point where Poles really has no more excuses here given the likely Super Bowl window the franchise is in.

28. Seattle Seahawks - Kade Pieper, OG, Iowa

This could be a fun pick for the Seattle Seahawks. This roster does check a lot of boxes, and that remains the case even with the exit of talent this past offseason. Kade Pieper could be the pick here, as it still feels like Seattle could use more of an interior offensive line presence.

Pieper is a high motor player with plus athleticism, and those two traits are definitely things that make you excited about his potential future in the NFL. Him being a bit undersized is less than ideal, but we have seen some lighter players excel in this league along the offensive line.

The run blocking is also there, and with the team having lost Kenneth Walker III in free agency, adding some more offensive line talent can create more space for their running backs to hit the hole. GM John Schneider is among the best in the NFL and has clearly put a major emphasis on the trenches as well.
