15. Philadelphia Eagles - Jordan Seaton, OT, LSU
With Lane Johson retiring in-season, we could end up seeing the beginning of the end of this current era of Philadelphia Eagles football. Not only did Johnson retire, but the team also traded Pro Bowl center Cam Jurgens to the Baltimore Ravens.
It's clear that GM Howie Roseman could be looking to start rebuilding for this next era of football, and one area he has always put a huge emphasis at is the offensive line. Yes, Jordan Seaton is a left tackle prospect, and the Eagles already have a left tackle in Jordan Mailata, but would it be such a bad idea to draft Seaton with the idea of him kicking over to the right side...?
He's got the overall skill set to be a high-end starting tackle, and it's not like we have not seen notable names play both sides of the offensive line before. Two names that immediately come to mind would be Penei Sewell and Tristan Wirfs.
16. Detroit Lions - Ashton Hampton, CB, Clemson
It does not feel like the Detroit Lions do a single thing well on the defensive side of the ball. Between the coaching and bad personnel on the backend, the Lions might see another year to go waste thanks to sporting the worst defense in the NFL.
And it's really a shame, as this team began the 2025 season 7-4, finished 9-8, and are now 2-2 on the season. That totals a 4-6 record over their last 10 regular season games dating back to 2025. Getting the defense in an average spot would have the Lions right back atop the NFC hierarchy, and targeting a clear need is what this front office should do given how solid the rest of the operation and roster is.
Ashton Hampton is long, tough, and is solid as a run defender.
