4. New Orleans Saints: Leonard Moore, CB, Notre Dame
The New Orleans Saints have let me down so far this season, especially on the defensive side of the ball. And they are in the same boat as the Chargers, where it simply makes the most sense for them to take the best defensive player on the board in this slot.
Leonard Moore has drawn some comparisons to Pat Surtain II in terms of his blend of size, speed, technical prowess, and high floor as a prospect. He's a can't miss player here.
However...If the Saints finish with this bad of a record this season, would they not consider taking a QB here?
5. Arizona Cardinals: Arch Manning, QB, Texas
We have finally reached the point where the idea of Arch Manning simply being guaranteed a spot in the top 10 picks of the 2027 NFL Draft is on the ropes.
There are some who believe the only reason he's even discussed here is because of his name. There might be a degree of truth to that, but focusing too much on his family legacy is doing a disservice to the fact that Arch is truly a good QB prospect. He's not a finished prospect, by any means, but he will put some "wow" throws out there.
I'm not sure why Arch isn't evaluated more along the lines of a Sam Darnold type coming out from his biggest critics, but that's just me. At any rate, he needs to pick things up to still be considered for this high of a pick slot, or he's in danger of his draft stock falling out of the 1st round entirely.
6. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Charlie Becker, WR, Indiana
Even though the Bucs just spent a 1st-round pick on Emeka Egbuka a couple of years ago, they might need to add even more to the wide receiver position this offseason.
It wouldn't surprise in the slightest to see the Bucs completely overhaul their coaching staff in 2027, especially if they do end up picking somewhere as high as 6th overall.
Additional production at the offensive skill positions is needed, and with Mike Evans gone in 2026, the need for a big option at the "X" position is obvious. Charlie Becker isn't a Mike Evans clone, by any stretch, but he's one of the best vertical weapons in the country right now.
