This is the pick the New York Jets acquired in the Sauce Gardner trade with the Indianapolis Colts, and it's almost comical how often that particular pick ends up being a cornerback in mock drafts. I promise, we're not trying to make that a "thing".
But it works out pretty well here for the Jets, who have a whopping three selections in the top 10 if the season ended today.
Leonard Moore is the total package at the cornerback position with size, speed, playmaking ability, and refined technique. He feels like a true blue-chip player in this upcoming class.
The Eagles jumped up one spot in the 2027 NFL Draft order, but I'm not changing the pick for this team. This is an Eagles team that has tried desperately to find help off the edge over the past couple of years, but they have yet to really figure it out.
The Jaelan Phillips trade at the deadline last year -- and his subsequent departure in free agency to the Panthers -- was a huge domino for this team.
Although there might be some character things and background to check out with Stewart, he has top-5 talent off the edge.
Another quarterback prospect who has done his part to separate from those struggling is Notre Dame's CJ Carr. Although he's already shown enough to be considered worthy of a possible top 10 overall investment, everyone is going to be watching his matchup with Miami closely this coming week.
Carr hasn't been "risk averse" this season -- he's put some big time shots out there for everyone to see -- but that may be the one thing limiting some of the excitement around him as a prospect. Still, there's huge value in playing point guard at the QB position well, which is what the Jets need with all the playmakers they have in place.
