For reference, the framework of the Parsons' deal was two first-round picks, and while Garrett is older, he still appears to be right in the middle of his prime, so it'd be reasonable to think that two first-round picks and a sweetener would be the meeting point.
The Niners would get someone to pair next to Joey Bosa on a defensive line that has needed a boost for multiple years now. The 49ers still managed to win 12 games last year despite dealing with a ton of injuries, so this team is close and likely wants to find a way to get an edge over Seattle and Los Angeles, two teams in a tier of their own right now.
