We're now crossing the halfway point of the 2026 NFL Season. The playoff races in both conferences are heating up, and as November passes, we'll see each game carrying a bit more weight than the previous week.

And, unfortunately for some teams, we see some major injuries that are almost guaranteed to stop any sort of playoff hope. As we have done each week thus far, we've outlined teams we believe are guaranteed to win and lose.

Let's get things started here and talk about three teams that are guaranteed to lose this week.

These three teams are guaranteed to lose in Week 9 of the 2026 NFL Season

Baltimore Ravens (vs. Jacksonville Jaguars)

Well, the Baltimore Ravens are suddenly down to their third-string quarterback, Joe Fagnano, as both Lamar Jackson and Tyler Huntley are now out for the rest of the season. Sitting at 4-4, the Ravens might struggle to win another game this year, and they play on Thursday Night Football against the juggernaut Jacksonville Jaguars.

Unfortunately for the Ravens, the Jaguars are likely approaching blowout territory. It'd be hard enough if the Ravens were able to start their QB2 in Huntley. We don't really see many teams getting down to their third-stringer.

That's the key advantage here, as the Ravens, arguably, have more overall roster talent than the Jaguars when both are at full strength. The difference between Fagnano and Trevor Lawrence is a crater, so this game could end up being out of the Ravens reach at halftime.

Expect a Jaguars win in this one - you never want to say that a team is lucky in this scenario, but the Jags do have a very favorable matchup, and it's lopsided enough that you really can't see much of a path for a trap game, even with the Ravens getting this one at home.

Jaguars win this one, likely by double digits.
