2. Minnesota Vikings (6-1)

The Minnesota Vikings have a QB issue, folks. Kyler Murray is hurt again and just has not been good this year. You almost wonder if the team would be better off with Carson Wentz at this point. The Vikings rank 27th in points scored per game and 1st in points allowed. Brian Flores' defense is Super Bowl-caliber, and that is the one thing keeping the Vikings where they are right now.

Murray has five touchdown passes and three interceptions in six starts this year. He and Wentz have combined for eight touchdown passes and a modest 90.6 passer rating, but the team is averaging just 165.6 passing yards per game.

The way the offense has been playing is not something that will keep the Vikings very high in the NFC playoff race. If that unit can't pick it up in the coming weeks, we'll see one of Detroit or Chicago take the NFC North division over and not let it go.

A very flawed team, the Vikings still maintain that No. 2 seed in the NFC right now.

1. San Francisco 49ers (6-1)

The San Francisco 49ers can win it all this year, but the roster health has to get better - that has been the one thing this year that has not worked, as both sides of the ball are very good, and we all know how good a coach Kyle Shanahan is.

We'll see if the roster health improves. If it does, the 49ers can make a run to the Super Bowl, but if it doesn't, this team will need to try to get by with who they have. Earning that No. 1 seed would be massive here if they're still dealing with notable injuries come January.

Still a top-3 team in the NFL, the 49ers are also the top seed in the NFC playoff race right now.
