Cincinnati Bengais (5-2) vs. Atlanta Falcons (3-5)
Sunday, November 8, 9:30 AM ET (game will be played in Madrid, Spain)
Set your alarms early for Sunday morning if you want to make sure you can say you saw Bengals vs. Falcons when it happened live.
Although this isn't exactly a "primetime" slot in any of the US time slots (especially for our friends out in the Pacific), it's a standalone game and part of the NFL International Series, which we always include in these posts.
The intrigue surrounding this game ramps up immediately when you find out that the Bengals are only 3-point favorites on a neutral site against the Falcons.
Considering how explosive the Bengals' offense has been this season, and how abysmal Atlanta's offense was just last week, the oddsmakers are clearly expecting some surprises over in Spain.
The Bengals have shown they will turn the ball over, but even when they are making a bunch of mistakes, they've got the right quarterback to be able to overcome them. Joe Burrow has been absolutely on another level lately with at least four touchdown passes in each of his last three games, and at least three touchdown passes in four of his last five games.
Believe it or not, Michael Penix Jr. was also on a bit of a heater until last week's rain-impacted debacle against the Bucs. He had back-to-back games against the Bears and 49ers with three touchdown passes.
And perhaps Vegas is basing the line for this game on what the Falcons were able to do against San Francisco a couple weeks ago when they weren't dealing with constant rain and playing on a Slip-N-Slide.
Maybe the Falcons do pull off a shocker. If it comes down to which team can run the ball better, who are you taking?
Prediction: Falcons win 29-27
