Kansas City Chiefs (5-0) @ Seattle Seahawks (3-3)

Sunday, October 25, 8:20 PM ET

Although it doesn't exactly feel like it with the Seahawks entering this week having a 3-3 record, this could potentially be a Super Bowl preview.

In the case of the Kansas City Chiefs, at least, it appears as though we can once again pencil in Mahomes and company for some big games in January. After a down year last year, who knew the addition of Kenneth Walker would single-handedly be the thing that brought the Chiefs back to prominence?

Maybe the Chiefs did.

The Seattle Sehawks clearly underestimated just how detrimental it would be for them to lose a player like Walker this offseason, even with the idea that you can find running backs all over the NFL Draft. Usually.

Unfortunately for them, Walker has developed into one of the most impactful offensive weapons in the game. He's legitimately in the MVP conversation right now, and has taken a ton of pressure off Patrick Mahomes in 2026.

The pressure Walker has taken off Mahomes has been on Sam Darnold in a big way. The Seahawks don't have a consistent run game, Darnold is throwing too many interceptions, and the Seahawks are at risk of ending Week 7 with a losing record.

The Chiefs are not exactly the team you want to be playing when you need to get back on track, but this is also where you want to see that championship mettle.

I wouldn't be shocked if the Chiefs -- 3-point underdogs -- end up winning this one outright with Kenneth Walker showing the Seahwaks what they're missing. But Seattle is also a team desperate for a win and they are playing at home.

Prediction: Seahawks win 23-19
