6. Jacksonville Jaguars, 4-1

The Jacksonville Jaguars come in at No. 6 in our playoff team power rankings. The Jaguars lone loss this year came against the Denver Brocnos in Week 2.

Jacksonville has beaten Cleveland, New England, Cincinnati, and Philadelphia - not exactly a gauntlet of opponents. Sure, the Jaguars cannot control when they play certain teams, but they're far from perfect and likely lose in Week 5 if the Eagles understand how clocks work or how to perform a kickoff.

The roster itself isn't quite as good as the coaching has been, but QB Trevor Lawrence is playing out of his mind and is trending toward at least being an MVP candidate for the second season, in a row, which is notable.

Unless something radical happens, the Jaguars should also be able to coast into the playoffs as the AFC South winner, and I am not sure it's insane to think that they could compete for the playoffs No. 1 seed as well.

5. Denver Broncos, 4-2

The Broncos are one of the more interesting teams in football this year. Their four wins have come against Jacksonville, the Los Angeles Rams, the Los Angeles Chargers, and the Seattle Seahawks. They've endured the toughest schedule in the NFL thus far and are seeing their defense really pick things up lately.

But the offense is borderline non-existent. On one hand, it's definitely a concern, as Bo Nix has struggled this year, but on the other hand, it proves that this team could truly be elite if the offense does get figured out.

Think about it - the Broncos have won four of their first six games against some incredibly tough opponents with the offense struggling. The schedule softens up the rest of the way, as their toughest remaining game might just be a home game against Kansas City in two weeks, and the Broncos have beaten the Chiefs at home three years in a row.

Denver isn't higher because the offense just isn't in a good spot right now.
