3. Los Angeles Chargers rushing touchdowns by a quarterback record
The Los Angeles Chargers rushing touchdowns by a quarterback record has seen no movement this season. The tie at 15 rushing touchdowns for the position remains, with John Hadl, Jack Kemp and Justin Herbert being the group of quarterbacks who have been unable to remove the glue sticking them together. This week, it seems like Herbert will need to take matters into his own hands, with top wide receiver Ladd McConkey dealing with his foot injury, and play hero ball against the Denver Broncos, which could result in the quarterback breaking the all-time rushing touchdowns record for the Chargers at his position.
2. Pittsburgh Steelers forced fumbles record
Ladies and gentlemen, we finally had movement with T.J. Watt in Week 4 of the NFL season. While trying to will the Pittsburgh Steelers back into the game last Thursday night, Watt forced a fumble on Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson. While the Steelers still lost the game, Watt marched closer to the history books for the franchise.
Coming into this week, Watt is tied for the franchise record for forced fumbles with Greg Lloyd at 37. With one forced fumble against the Indianapolis Colts this weekend, Watt can etch his name into the history books again for the Steelers. His target at quarterback this week, Daniel Jones, has 63 fumbles since coming into the league in the 2019 season.
1. Von Miller moves up the top-10 sacks list
While Watt has moved up the list, veteran pass rusher Von Miller has not. Miller remains a half a sack away from moving up the all-time sacks leaders list, breaking his tie at the ninth spot with Dallas Cowboys legend DeMarcus Ware. Additionally, Miller can move up to the seventh spot on the list with one-and-a-half sacks against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Thursday Night Football this week.
