The offense continues to be insanely important in today's NFL, and with defenses having been able to figure out how to stop the downfield passing attack, we're definitely seeing a bit of a resurgence in the run game.
I bet as the years go on, we'll see a correction back to the high-end passing, which was present a few years ago. The NFL is cyclical, obviously, so the pattern could continue. One thing that does remain constant are the teams that boast high-end offensive talent.
While the teams can be different year to year, there really isn't any denying who the most talented units in the league are. With preseason progressing, let's rank the 10 best offensive supporting casts in the league. We're lumping in everything on offense outside of the QB, so we're looking at offensive line, running back, tight end, and wide receiver.
Ranking the best offensive supporting cast groups in the NFL as preseason rolls on
10. Baltimore Ravens
The Baltimore Ravens come in at No. 10 in our list. Where the Ravens really win is with Derrick Henry, perhaps an all-time great running back, but wide receiver Zay Flowers has continued to be among the more underrated, but most productive receivers in the league. Tight end Mark Andrews is no slouch, either, and the front office truly did revamp the interior of that offensive line, which is in a solid spot overall.
Lamar Jackson also helps, but the weaponry he has is excellent. Rookies Ja'Kobi Lane and Elijah Sarratt were also two noteworthy additions that could bring some much-needed depth to the receiver room. From top to bottom, the Ravens really aren't missing much of anything, and had this team not started 1-5 in the 2025 season, they very likely win 11+ games and capture the AFC North title.
