8. Bo Nix
Our eyes don't lie to us, and Bo Nix absolutely passes the eye test. Through two seasons in the NFL, Nix's pass-catchers have registered 75 drops, which is 15 more than the next closest QB/team combination. His teammates haven't done him any favors, yet Nix and the Denver Broncos have won 24 regular season games in two seasons, including an AFC West title in 2025.
And had Nix not broken his ankle in what was clearly a freak thing, the Broncos very likely play in the Super Bowl in 2025. If that ankle injury didn't happen and the Broncos do play in the Super Bowl, I do wonder how much differently Nix is talked about around the league.
He's a young player in his third year and is already a part of a team that could win it all. His countless game-winning drives and fourth-quarter comebacks were notable and prove that Nix comes alive when his team needs him to the most.
7. Trevor Lawrence
Trevor Lawrence's pass-catchers have registered 60 drops over the past two seasons, so he is the QB who is right behind Nix. We saw Lawrence really come alive over the final month and a half of the regular season, and in 2025, it finally felt like the Jacksonville Jaguars found something sustainbale.
Lawrence's talent has never been disputed - he was largely dubbed a 'generational' player for a reason, but up until 2025, the Jaguars never found consistent success. With stability present, the 2026 season should bring even more notable success and further prove that Lawrence is a high-end player.
6. Joe Burrow
The injuries are worth noting, but Joe Burrow has appeared in the Super Bowl and has another yaer with an AFC Championship Game appearance. He's a top-3 QB in this league and the best processor and pocket passer we have right now.
It's not his fault the Cincinnati Bengals have been a mess front office-wise for years. If Burrow was on a much more stable team, he'd likely be a multi-time Super Bowl champion. While Burrow isn't going to make a ton of plays outside the pocket, his high-end passing profile makes him, consistently, among the best at the position.
5. Lamar Jackson
Lamar Jackson definitely gets banged up here and there, but he's a two-time MVP and the best dual-threat passer of all-time. He's absolutely one of the more dynamic players of this generation and is still likely going to be at the very top of his game with his health in check as 2026 approaches.
