2. Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals
Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals could win it all this year. The Bengals front office finally got serious and revamped the defense this offseason in a series of stellar moves. And while Burrow does have some injury concerns, he's always a top-5 QB when he's on the field. He might have the best processing ability of any QB in the NFL and, to that end, may be the best pocket passer in the league.
While Burrow isn't a major threat to make big-time plays with his legs, it's definitely a part of his game. Where Burrow also sticks out is that legitimate 'cool under pressure' trait he has. It's been evidenced countless times in his career and it's also a huge reason why the Bengals were able to make it to the Super Bowl his second year in the league.
Burrow, with even a league average defense, could help Cincy win the Super Bowl, and he's also plenty good enough to win the MVP as well.
1. Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills
Allen is the best QB in the AFC right now and tops our power rankings. He's been among the best at what he does since that first breakout year back in 2020. While the Buffalo Bills have faltered in the playoffs year after year, Allen's greatness is obvious.
He's a likely Hall of Famer one day, and the only thing he and the Bills have not done is win a Super Bowl. Allen won the MVP in 2024 and also has 79 career rushing touchdowns, which does not feel like a real stat.
His longevity and total dominance while doing it gets him to the top of our power rankings, but with how loaded the AFC is with talented QBs, there is a chance he takes a backseat to another passer in 2026.
