22. Indianapolis Colts (2-2)
It certainly wasn’t the prettiest game for the Indianapolis Colts, but they’re suddenly 2-2 after a shaky 0-2 start. The Colts defeated the Commanders in London in what was the early game on Sunday. Quarterback Daniel Jones tossed just 143 yards and had an interception, but running back Jonathan Taylor managed 95 yards and two touchdowns.
Of all players, Laquon Treadwell led the Colts in receiving. While the Colts are now winners of two in a row, this team feels totally different from how they were playing to begin the 2025 season, and that’s the issue.
Like many other teams in the NFL right now, the Colts just don’t do anything well, and while winning is winning, where will the Colts find advantages over their opponents week to week? Given how shaky the AFC South feels right now, there was a sliver of a chance for the Colts to make some progress this year.
But a failure to build on or continue what began in 2025 is going to ultimately ruin their season in the end.
21. Philadelphia Eagles (2-2)
Folks, the Philadelphia Eagles are not a good football team, and Jalen Hurts is a subpar QB. Hurts went 12/27 passing for 93 yards and two touchdowns. How is that even possible…? Hurts just holds onto the ball for too long, can’t throw over the middle of the field, and typically takes too many sacks.
Hurts and the Eagles had a 10-point lead entering the fourth quarter at home and could not seael the deal. Yes, this team is banged-up pretty good, but that doesn’t really excuse for how bad Hurts has been.
Through four weeks, as we said recently, this team still does not do anything particularly well. It’s going to keep remaining that way unless the defense can shape up, as the offense is deficient at QB, and without AJ Brown in the picture, the explosive, downfield passing attack isn’t going to be there.
The Eagles not making the playoffs this year would not be a major shock, either. They tumble in our power rankings.
