20. Pittsburgh Steelers (2-2)
The Pittsburgh Steelers are a bad football team, folks. I have maintained that you can divide all 32 teams into three distinct tiers in the league:
-The top tier of the very best, Super Bowl-contending teams in the league that can win it all for one reason or another
-The very bottom tier of the worst teams in the league that are at least trying to rebuild or desperately need a rebuild
-What I have considered and named the ‘Irrelevant Middle,’ a group of teams that aren’t good enough to be among the worst but aren’t good enough to be among the best
That’s where the Steelers are - they have competent players all over the place but don’t have enough high-end players and don’t do anything particularly well, and this is what you get. A losing season would honestly be the best thing for this team, but the stubborn front office can’t seem to get out of their own way, and TNF’s result was flat-out embarrassing, regardless if the Browns are better than we think.
19. Green Bay Packers (2-2)
The Green Bay Packers won, barely, over Tampa Bay in Week 4, but this season does feel like a lost cause. So many key players are hurt, and now their stud linebacker, Edgerrin Cooper, tore his Achilles, which is flat-out devastating.
The Packers are now 2-2 on the season, which is something, but their simply hemmoraging players at an unsustainable rate. It’d be a massive shock if they found a way to sneak into the playoffs, but with how stable this franchise has been for years, this team isn’t just going to pack it in.
Jordan Love was an efficient 22/30. He had just 197 yards, but he did have two touchdowns. Running back Kaleb Johnson also had a solid day on the ground, adding 42 yards on eight carries. Overall, even given how banged-up the Packers are, this game should have ended the way it did.
Green Bay is the better team and at least gives themselves a fighting chance going forward.
