18. New Orleans Saints (1-2)

New Orleans will play on Monday Night Football

New Orleans squares off against Atlanta on Monday Night Football to close out Week 4 of the 2026 season. The Saints have been a fun team this year, as you can clearly see the growth from QB Tyler Shough, and while it’s not always looked pretty, it just feels different.

It’s important to note that the Saints are not there yet - the roster is good but not quite ready to legitimately contend, and both Shough and head coach Kellen Moore are only in their second years in their respective roles.

This team is still growing, and it could take until 2027 before we truly look at them as being legitimate. With that said, they can win the NFC South this year and could absolutely beat the Falcons in Week 4, as the Saints do have a key advantage at the QB position.

The NFC South might end up being a battle of which team can be the least flawed, and heading into MNF, I would bank on the Saints being the winner of that battle. As I have said, keep your Saints stock.

17. Dallas Cowboys (2-2)

The Dallas Cowboys are now 2-2 on the season after a back-and-forth victory over Houston in Week 4. The story with the Cowboys this year through four weeks feels the same as last year’s main issue - the offense is great, but the defense cannot stop a nosebleed.

We do have to mention the endless injuries the defense is currently enduring, but the bad defense was also present earlier in the season. QB Dak Prescott has been outstanding this year. He’s completed 70 percent of his passes and has thrown at least one touchdown in all four games. The Cowboys veteran QB continues to be among the best at what he does, but this team risks the 2026 season amounting to nothing if the defense can’t get figured out.

That’s really the story here - Dallas’ defense has arguably been bad all four weeks this year, which is impressive. First-year defensive coordinator Christian Parker certainly has time to figure this out, but the early returns from the first-time play-caller are less than ideal.
