6. AFC North (Aaron Rodgers, Lamar Jackson, Joe Burrow, Deshaun Watson)
Yes, Lamar Jackson and Joe Burrow are both great, but let's not pretend like the AFC North is this juggernaut of a division that it has been in prior seasons. Aaron Rodgers was largely mediore last year. He is simply a declining player and just does not bring much of anything notable to the position anymore.
Now firmly in that top-20th-ish range, Rodgers is going to, if nothing else, not throw a ton of interceptions, but based on what we saw in 2025, the Pittsburgh Steelers are again primed to sport a rather underwhelming offense.
Both Jackson and Burrow also come with injury concerns. For Jackson, that isn't much of a surprise given the style of QB he plays, but it's something that has plagued many of his NFL seasons. Burrow has suffered multiple season-ending injuries at this point and also hasn't been in the playoffs since the 2022 season.
The talent is there for both of them, but the availability is not consistent. As for the Cleveland Browns, they might just have the worst QB room in the NFL, as Deshaun Watson doesn't seem to be playable at this point, and Shedeur Sanders is just... well, not a starter. Both Watson and Sanders could be backup QBs on other teams, but when you assess the Browns QB room as a whole, it's not hard to see how the room needs totally blown up after this year.
The AFC North is also not the division it once was overall, as all four teams shave notable roster concerns, and the QBs all come with some form of uncertainty. As of now, the AFC North perhaps takes a shockingly low spot in our power rankings as the 2026 regular season rapidly approaches.
