4. Jim Harbaugh, Los Angeles Chargers

It might be time to have a talk about Jim Harbaugh and the Los Angeles Chargers. This is an uncharacteristically bad Harbaugh-coached team, as he's won quite literally everywhere he's been, whether in the NFL or at the collegiate level.

After going 11-6 in each of his first two years on the job, which also included Wild Card losses both years, Harbaugh's Chargers have taken a massive step back and are now 0-4 on the season. What is really disappointing is just how poorly the Mike McDaniel hire has worked out, as his addition was largely praised across the NFL landscape, but defensive coordinator Chris O'Leary has also simply been a bad hire too.

What we have with the Chargers is a team that botched both coordinator hires and do not have a nearly good enough roster to cover up for it. It's worth wondering how much influence Harbaugh has over this roster and coaching staff, and I bet his fingerprints are all over this operation.

Simply put, the Chargers are among the worst teams in football, and the head coach is at the center of it, so he deserves to appear in our power ranking after Week 4.

3. Dan Quinn, Washington Commanders

Dan Quinn's Washington Commanders have regressed big-time since the start of the 2025 season. After a massively encouraging 2024 campaign, the Commanders went 5-12 in 2025 and are now 1-3 through four games in 2026.

They honestly feel like the same exact team this year as they were last year, and something really odd that has developed since 2025 is how bad the defense has been. Quinn is one of the more stable defensive minds of this generation, yet he clearly can't seem to figure out that side of the ball.

Not only that, but his quarterback can't stay healthy. That isn't necessarily his fault, but unless something turns around quickly, Quinn could be shown the door, as virtually nothing has worked since the start of 2025.
