10. Bo Nix, Denver Broncos
Bo Nix and the Denver Broncos, despite the gauntlet schedule so far, are 2-2. Nix hasn't played that well, as he's thrown five touchdown passes against three interceptions thus far. He's only completed 60 percent of his passes and has just 819 yards.
With that said, the Broncos simply cannot run the ball effectively this year, which certainly doesn't help. Denver's run game is among the five worst in the NFL in terms of yards, and until that gets fixed, I am not sure you can expect much from the passing game.
Defenses are daring Denver to run the ball and are selling out to stop the pass. And, well, the Broncos have not run the ball well this year, so Nix's production is hurt as a result.
9. CJ Stroud, Houston Texans
I guess it's neat that CJ Stroud has not thrown an interception this year. Stroud ranks second in th conference with 1,141 passing yards. He's completing just 61.6 percent of his passes but does have a respectable 95.9 passer rating and 54.6 QBR.
All in all, while Stroud has not been bad this year, he's not been particularly good, either. Houston is 0-4 for a reason, and while the defense is much to blame, the offense is not necessarily playing out of their minds.
Stroud is a tough player to evaluate this year, honestly. The zero interceptions and 285.3 yards per game does have you flashing back to his rookie season, but the thing with Stroud is that he just doesn't really excel at anything.
He's competent at just about everything you want a QB to be decent at, but nothing jumps off the page, and we could be approaching a point in time where Stroud is firmly a QB you can win with, but only if the situation around him is strong.
