2. Minnesota Vikings, 6-0
The Minnesota Vikings are 6-0 on the season and come in at No. 2 in our NFC North power rankings. Folks, this offense just is not good right now, and while being 6-0 is something to take seriously, they simply cannot keep winning like this later in the season.
At some point, either Kyler Murray needs to play better within the system, or they need to throw Carson Wentz back out there. With that being said, the Vikings are 6-0 for a reason and do have what appears to be a Super Bowl-caliber defense, but this team is very clearly one-sided.
As long as Brian Flores has his unit playing as it has, the Vikings will win way more than they lose, but the ceiling of this team is going to be capped unless the offense improves. I'd also add that the Vikings could be a logical team to add a running back at the trade deadline to help spark the offense as the deadline nears.
1. Chicago Bears, 5-2
The Chicago Bears adding Simmons is a huge move that puts them atop our NFC North power rankings. The defense has already been much-improved this season, but the defensive line has been missing another impact player for multiple years now, and they got one in Simmons.
When you look at the Bears, you clearly see the most complete team in the division. Caleb Williams is a budding superstar, the offense is loaded with playmaking talent, and the defenses improvement this season cannot be ignored at all.
Chicago is the best team in the division right now and may honestly be the best team in the NFC at this point. Games in the NFL are won and lost in the trenches, so it's no surprise the Bears made this move, as head coach Ben Johnson did come from a Detroit team that did and still does put a major emphasis up front.
The Bears are the team to beat in the North.
