16. Seattle Seahawks (3-3)

The Seattle Seahawks are regressing, folks, and it’s not been good lately. Now losers of three out of their last four, Seattle has already hit their win total for all of the 2025 season. What we’re seeing is a regression on offense, in particular.

It’s much easier to sustain defensive success year over year in the NFL, and Mike Macdonald’s unit is currently still playing excellent football. With the subtraction of Kenneth Walker III and Klint Kubiak, for example, we’re seeing a situation unfold where QB Sam Darnold’s lack of overall franchise QB-ness is being exposed.

Darnold was pretty good last year, but he struggled with turnovers and wasn’t exactly lighting up the stat sheet despite having a really solid run game and an elite defense. And now, with the run game not nearly in that same spot, and no consistent receiving threat outside of Jaxon Smith-Njigba, the Seahawks are turning into a limited offense with a limited QB.

That’s really what it comes down to, and the team’s NFC West chances this year just do not feel secure.

15. Green Bay Packers (3-2)

Packers will have played on Sunday Night Football

The Green Bay Packers are banged up and just not in a good spot roster-wise, but they enter Sunday Night Football having blown out the Chicago Bears in Week 5. The Packers are getting awesome QB play from Jordan Love this season, and they did just see running back Josh Jacobs get removed from the exempt list.

While the Packers might not have a healthy enough group at the moment to make a deep playoff run, this team does again appear to be good enough to make the playoffs, which is something they have done all three years of the Love-starting era.

Playing the Cowboys is not going to be an easy task, either. The Cowboys offense is a laser show, so the Packers are going to need to respond with a ton of points, and I’d not be shocked if the first team to 30 points wins this one.

Green Bay is the better team and has responded well thus far to their mounting injuries.
