There were 12 teams in the NFL last year that finished with at least 10 wins, and another three teams that had nine wins, but getting to double-digit wins in the 17-game era does feel like the unofficial requirement to make the playoffs.
There has been just one team in the 17-game era thus far, the 2024 Seattle Seahawks, that finished with double-digit wins and did not make the playoffs, so the hit rate here is almost 100 percent. It's also clear that even though a team may have at least 10 wins, it's far from a guarantee that they are an actual contender, so there are tiers at play here.
Ahead of the 2026 regular season, which is truly right around the corner, let's power-rank each double-digit win team for this coming season. We're going to rank these 12 squads based on our own projection for this year.

12. Pittsburgh Steelers (10-7 in 2025)
The Pittsburgh Steelers are an average football team. They didn't do anything particularly well last year and are returning many of the same key players, and some of those players are getting old and far removed from their best years.
And when you add in a brand-new coaching staff, there is even more reason to believe that a regression is coming. Sure, the Steelers having this active non-losing season streak is nice, but this team hasn't won a playoff game in what feels like forever and has a ton of average players in key positions.
The biggest factor here, though, is going to be the aging Aaron Rodgers, who was mediocre last year and isn't going to get better with age, as he's been in a slow decline since his final MVP seasons with the Green Bay Packers.
11. Philadelphia Eagles (11-6 in 2025)
With the best playmaker gone and Jalen Hurts' passing limitations, the Philadelphia Eagles are not the juggernaut that some think they are. Sure, the defense is great, but as we saw in 2025, the offense just can't find any sort of long-term stability. With yet another new offensive coordinator, that side of the ball will continue to experience growing pains, and suddenly, key players like Saquon Barkley and Dallas Goedert are getting up there in age and could be due for regression.
Philly doesn't have that 'bite' that they did in previous seasons.
