3. Denver Broncos vs. Los Angeles Rams
Similar to the Rams blowout in Week 1, the Denver Broncos getting blown out is also probably a massive outlier. The Broncos missed tackles at an insane rate, and had they simply tackled like a bad NFL team and not like a high school team, the game is at least close.
The Rams and Broncos might be the two most talented teams in the league right now, as they both advanced into their respective title games, and had Broncos quarterback Bo Nix not broken his ankle, the Broncos likely play in Super Bowl LX against Seattle.
Sure, the Broncos and Rams could both be primed for a regression with how much they won last year, but with elite head coaches and loaded rosters, especially in the trenches, these teams are built to win in December and January.
2. Buffalo Bills vs. Chicago Bears
The Buffalo Bills are the talk of the town thus far, as Josh Allen has put on an absolute show across the first two weeks, but I am not seeing many people talking about how putrid the defense has been thus far.
With the Bills largely keeping much the same on offense, but the defense having a new coordinator and new faces, it could take some time for that unit to get going, and it does feel like we do this thing every year where the Bills look unbeatable for a short stretch in the regular season, and people across the media talk about how 'this is finally Buffalo's year!'
And that hasn't been the case, but what if this is their year...?
Replacing Sean McDermott with Joe Brady could be a big enough change to bring the Super Bowl home, and if the defense gets figured out, look out for Buffalo.
1. Buffalo Bills vs. Los Angeles Rams
The Bills and Rams would not be at all a shocking Super Bowl LXI game, as this matchup comes in as the most likely in our power rankings with Week 2 here. With two superstar QBs and loaded rosters, it might end up being a shock if one of these teams isn't playing in February.
But as the 2026 season rolls out, these rankings will look different, as even the first month of the season can sometimes be misleading, so it'll be fun to follow along and see which teams truly emerge as top contenders.
Both Stafford and Allen also have some prolific playoff production, too, so it'd not be a shock if both QBs went on a 'heater' in the postseason and helped their teams get to the big game.
