8. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: B+

Buccaneers' OL grade: A

Buccaneers' DL grade: B

The Buccaneers' offensive line is anchored by left tackle Tristan Wirfs, who might be the best left tackle in the game. Even though this unit had to deal with some injuries last season, they are an impressive group on paper at all five positions.

Luke Goedeke is a really underrated tackle when healthy, and the interior offensive line getting Cody Mauch back this season will be massive.

On the defensive side of the ball, the addition of Rueben Bain off the edge could be a total game-changer for the Bucs' defense. The defensive line will be really good if they somehow find a way to keep Vita Vea around and Calijah Kancey healthy as well. There might be more "ifs" with this Bucs team in the trenches, but they definitely have one of the higher ceilings.

7. Pittsburgh Steelers: B+/A-

Steelers' OL grade: B+

Steelers' DL grade: A-

Somewhat quietly, the Steelers have been building a little something on both sides of the line of scrimmage in recent years. If you weren't paying close enough attention, you might have missed it. I, for one, was enlightened by this post on Twitter/X from Daniel Jeremiah:

And the more digging you do, the more you see that he's right. The Steelers have invested a ton in their offensive and defensive lines, though the OL has some more catching up to do. Broderick Jones is a bit of a wild card, but he'll draw a lot of attention as a former 1st-round pick.

This team has Troy Fautanu and Mason McCormick on the left side, and those are two recent draft picks they can be confident in. Zach Frazier is a stud at center. The right side is more of a question mark, but they have options there as well, including a couple of high draft picks this year (Max Iheanachor, Gennings Dunker).

On the defensive front, the edge group including TJ Watt, Alex Highsmith, and Nate Herbig is ridiculous. They have Cam Heyward back for his millionth season. Keeanu Benton has become a really good second-contract player. And then there's 2025 1st-round pick Derrick Harmon still developing and growing.
