11. Daniel Jones, Indianapolis Colts
Daniel Jones and the Indianapolis Colts were off to an insane start during the 2025 season. They were 7-1 at one point, and Jones was honestly playing at a borderline MVP level, as crazy as that might sound. The Colts, however, fell apart and finished just 8-9.
Jones tore his Achilles and began to show signs of the old Jones before that. At this point, the Colts are kind of back to square one where we simply have no idea what to expect with the QB. Jones does have some nice talent as a runner and was able to play on time for Indy, but unless he can totally put his bad QB-ing behind him, he won't amount to much of anything with the Colts in 2026.
10. Aaron Rodgers, Pittsburgh Steelers
Aaron Rodgers was largely mediocre last year for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He's now a year older, entering his age-43 season, and could continue to regress. The Steelers don't overwhelm you with talent on offense, and Rodgers doesn't do much of anything particularly well at this point of his career.
He's firmly in that 18-22 range among all 32 starters and will, if nothing else, be able to hold the fort down and at least keep Pittsburgh afloat, but this team isn't winning much of anything with Rodgers outside off 9 or 10 regular season games.
9. CJ Stroud, Houston Texans
CJ Stroud is just inside the top-10 in our updated rankings. He's been underwhelming the past two seasons for the Texans, and with Stroud already in year four, this clearly stands to be the most important year of his NFL career. Stroud doesn't really stand out with his raw talent, but his insane rookie season can't be discounted, as he was a high-end QB in 2023 and could still have that in mind for 2026.
