14. Los Angeles Chargers (0-5)

You could realistically say that the Los Angeles Chargers have been the most disappointing team in the NFL this year. We're probably another loss away from major changes taking place. Now 0-5 on the season, the Chargers are already approaching their loss total from the 2024 and 2025 seasons, as they finished 11-6 both years.

Nothing is working for this team, and to top it off, the injuries are mounting. We can argue who or what takes the bulk of the blame for this massive disappointment, but it's clear that everyone should take a piece of that blame pie.

With the Chargers still having a very tough schedule in the coming weeks, this could really be when the franchise bottoms out for good in 2026. Los Angeles is much closer to being a 'get right' game for opponents than being a legitimate team.

LA is No. 14 in our power rankings.

13. Indianapolis Colts (2-3)

Once again, we're talking about how the Indianapolis Colts just don't do anything well. They fell to the Steelers in Pittsburgh in Week 5 and are now 2-3 on the season. This feels like another year where the team flirts with 8 wins, and if that does happen, that should prompt some major changes, perhaps even as high as the front office.

There just isn't anything special happening with Indianapolis. I could argue this franchise is one of the more irrelevant in football at this stage. They're just mediocre across the board save for a few fun players.

The Colts figured things out in the first half of the 2025 season, but since then, they've played disappointing, losing football. You'd struggle to see how they turn into sellers at the deadline, too, as it feels like there is a playoff mandate here, so they're in a tough situation.
