Football is back... kind of. We did have the Hall of Fame game a few days ago, so that does mean the bulk of preseason action is right around the corner, and we are now one month away from the start of the 2026 regular season, as the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots will be the first regular season game on September 9th.

While all 32 teams envision winning the Super Bowl, there may only be eight-ish teams that are actually capable of winning it all. As we have done every week during the season, we have some complete league power rankings.

We'll do this every week when the season begins, and with us actually having some real football, let's kick things off with our first 'official' power rankings for the 2026 season.

Complete league power rankings as the NFL preseason kicks off

32. Cleveland Browns

I have typically put the Arizona Cardinals at No. 32, but the more I think about it, the more I believe the Cleveland Browns are the worst team in the league. If nothing else, the Cardinals do have a better quarterback room overall, and that's an incredibly important factor here. Cleveland needs to seriously hope that the 2027 NFL Draft can bring them a passer worth building around.

31. Arizona Cardinals

The Cardinals really do have some encouraging talent on offense, but the roster is still a bit of a mess overall, the QB room is bottom-5, and they play in the toughest division in the sport. I do believe that Arizona could be a frisky team in 2027 if they end up landing one of the top QB prospects next year, and that's really what most of these teams ranked this how have to hand their hat on for the moment.

Cleveland and Arizona are pretty clearly the two worst teams in the NFL right now.
