30. Miami Dolphins
Continuing on with teams that have major QB questions, the Miami Dolphins land at No. 29 in our power rankings. Miami did make a ton of aggressive moves this offseason, parting with former key players like Tua Tagovailoa, Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, Bradley Chubb, and others.
They also brought in a new head coach in Jeff Hafley who could bring the hard-nosed culture that this franchise has been missing for years. On one hand, this team doesn't have a clear path to winning many games this year, but on the other hand, they're also taking a clear-cut rebuilding approach, which has been needed.
So, if nothing else, Miami could actually go about this new era the right way, as there simply are not any shortcuts in roster-building in this league. They brought along Malik Willis at QB this offseason as well, so there's been a hefty amount of change, but that has left the team with limited roster talent and the reality that the rebuild may not work out.
29. Las Vegas Raiders
The Las Vegas Raiders are one step ahead of the Dolphins, as they may already have the franchise QB in the building with Fernando Mendoza, who the Raiders snagged with the first overall pick in the 2027 NFL Draft. The Raiders clearly want to slow-play his development, which is smart, but that does also paint a bleak picture for 2026.
The wide receiver room and offensive line are both in a tough spot, and with Kirk Cousins likely starting, this could be another tougher year. With that said, the stage is going to be set for Mendoza to come in, likely in 2027 as the full-time starter, with a much-improved unit around him.
For the time being, though, the Raiders are going to circle the drain in 2026.
