12. Bryce Young, Carolina Panthers
Bryce Young played the best football of his career in the 2025 season for the Carolina Panthers, but he was rather mediocre, throwing for at least 200 yards in just four games. Yes, he did see an improvement across the board, but given his physical limitations, I almost wonder if what we saw in 2025 was the 'ceiling' for Young.
Now in year three with Dave Canales in charge, this feels like the year, one way or another. Young could totally prove me wrong and burst out even more, earning an extension, but there are legitimate concerns with his game that could prevent that.
11. Kyler Murray, Minnesota Vikings
If nothing else, Murray is consistent as a passer. He's likely going to throw about two times as many touchdowns as interceptions and have a passer rating somewhere in the low-mid 90s. He'll also add a few more scores as a runner. What does stick out as being notable here is that this could be the best personnel situation Murray has played in thus far, so a career-best year is on the table.
10. Jayden Daniels, Washington Commanders
Only playing in seven games last year, Jayden Daniels takes a hit in our power rankings. Yes, he was objectively excellent in 2024, but that's now two seasons ago. With Daniels needing to shed this injury concern, it wouldn't be fair to the other more available QBs to rank him higher.
9. Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles
Jalen Hurts has been and will continue to be a limited QB. He constantly has high-end weapons around him, but he's not yet put up high end passing numbers. Hurts can't consistently threaten opposing defenses with his arm, but he does make up for some of that by being good with his legs, so he kind of works out to being an average quarterback in this league.
