3. Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals
Joe Burrow is the closest thing the NFL has to a Tom Brady. Burrow might be the best processor in the league and is an MVP candidate most every single season. While Burrow has struggled to stay on the field at times, and doesn't exactly play for the most stable franchise, the Cincinnati Bengals can win it all this year if the defense finally comes into their own.
And Burrow's talent hasn't been a question. He broke out for the first time back in the 2021 season, his second in the NFL. He's also been able to be a high-volume passer without sacrificing efficiency while doing so.
There aren't many passers in the league who can do what Burrow can do from the pocket.
2. Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills
Josh Allen is one of the best dual-threat QBs of all-time and continues to be a top player at his position. Allen won the MVP award in the 2024 season and continually has the Buffalo Bills near the top of the league.
While his passing touchdown total has actually decreased for years, he's still a massive threat with his legs and scores touchdowns with ease. Allen's overwhelming skillset and longevity have helped him progress through his 20s as one of the league's best. That should remain the case in 2026.
1. Matthew Stafford, Los Angeles Rams
Matthew Stafford won the MVP award and tops our QB power rankings for now. Stafford could always begin to regress, as he's getting up there in age, but he's also someone who has continued to have one of the strongest arms in the NFL, and it's clear that his processing speed is still elite.
Stafford does have a ton of high-end players around him, but I'm also not sure that is ever a fair reason to 'ding' a QB in rankings. If they're a good player, they're a good player. Stafford is a future Hall of Famer and could stil have multiple years of high-end football left in the tank.
